Building L&D Tools Without Writing Code
The traditional roadblocks to L&D innovation—no budget, no developers, and long IT queues—are obsolete.
In this live demonstration, Jason La Greca uses Cursor IDE and AI-assisted development to construct a fully functional assessment tool with detailed analytics in under 20 minutes.
This session is not about replacing developers or robust development methods; it is about empowering L&D professionals to prototype and iterate at the speed of thought.

The current LearningCafe hypothesis is that AI will radically reshape how we learn, how we work, and our identities as L&D professionals and individuals. The reshaping may take some time and will be uneven, but it will happen (maybe sooner, maybe later). L&D professionals need to understand this reshaping, their changing place, and the need for skilling beyond superficial reskilling.
Format: 45-minute online discussion (Zoom) – casual but structured. Three panellists (including myself as facilitator) will talk about our explorations of AI—tools, applications, hype, frustrations, etc.—with the flavour of a group of geeks chatting.
Panel: The panel will be drawn from a core group of 10–12 L&D folks, LLM experts, Agentic AI specialists, etc.
